Washer repair

Washers are clothes washing machines that use a combination of water, detergent, and agitation to remove dirt and stains from fabric. They are a major household appliance, and can be found in both top-loading and front-loading designs.

Common problems with washer machines include:

Not spinning or agitating

Not draining

Making loud or unusual noises

Leaking water

Not filling with water

Not starting

Not dispensing detergent

  • Ensure the machine is level: Make sure the machine is level to ensure proper drainage. Check to see that all four feet are firmly on the floor. If necessary, adjust the feet until the machine is level.
  • Clean the filter: Remove the filter and clean it regularly. If the filter is blocked, it can cause a clog and the machine won’t drain properly.
  • Check the hoses: Look for signs of wear and tear on the hoses and replace if necessary.
  • Clean the drum: Clean the inside of the drum with a damp cloth and a mild detergent. Doing this regularly will help to prevent any buildup of dirt or grime.
  • Check for blockages: If the machine isn’t draining properly, check for any blockages in the drain hose or pump.
  • Inspect the connections: Make sure all connections are secure and tight. Loose connections can cause leaks.
  • Check the belts: Check the belts for signs of wear and tear and replace if necessary.
  • Test the machine: Run a cycle to make sure the machine is working properly. Listen for any strange noises and check for any leaks.
